Lightly caramelized apple fritters

  • Ingredients

    250 g wheat flour

    200 ml milk

    50 ml sparkling water

    2 eggs

    30 g sugar

    1 pinch of salt

    2-3 tart apples

    50 g sugar

    1 tbsp cinnamon

  • Preparation

    First, mix the flour with a pinch of salt and the sugar. Then add the eggs, milk and sparkling water. Mix everything into a smooth batter. Now allow it to rest for a while so that the flour can swell.
    In the meantime, you can heat up the monolith with the hotplate on and cut the apples into 2-3 mm thick slices.
    Grease the hot plate, dip the apple slices in the batter and place on top. It is best to use grill tweezers. Make sure that the temperature is not too high. If necessary, place the patties a little further out. Fry on both sides and sprinkle with a little of the sugar and cinnamon mixture towards the end and turn again. Caramelize briefly and serve while still warm.
